Summer reflections

I spent ten days in Brighton with my lovely brother who is recovering from knee-surgery.

Highlights included watching Rye Lane (a sweetly funny film), The Pitt (TV hospital drama – had to close my eyes at the gory bits), listening to  Susanna Clarke’s  history of British Magic  Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell  on audio, reading Janette A Owen’s magnificent debut The Indiculous Grace Dunn,  a book launch with Katy Massey and Laura Wilkinson and early morning escapes (without Graham) to the magnificent Saltdean Lido

Back home to the gloriously cool but sunny North, I posted some data on self-publishing over on Substack.
